Chinnara Angala: Innocence Delight at ‘Harate Katte’

“Chinnara Angala”: The first session in the Harate Katte platform at the Mangaluru Lit Fest 2024 was lead by the sole panel member, Vandana Rai Karkala, teacher and content creator who rose to fame during the Covid lockdown.
The centre of attraction of the session were the students of Canara Higher Primary School, Dongerkere. The session began with prayer from the students. It was followed by an energetic dance in disguise as excercise.

The high energy was maintained throughout the session which consisted of action songs, team games and other fun activities. The participation of numerous instructors, parents, and other volunteers in the dance and games during the session was a further highlight.

Vandana Rai managed to engage not only the kids, but all the keen audience for each and every moment of the session. She gave tips to teachers and parents on how to handle small children and to improve the quality of their upbringing.
