“Indo Pacific should not only be seen in military,” says Lt Gen Vinod Khandare. He was speaking on the Topic, ‘Indo-Pacific Challenges and Opportunities’ at the Mangaluru LIT Fest here on Saturday January 20.
He said, “Term cheapest trade is done with the help of sea. Nation should have economic and a strong navy. Net security provider is a biggest term, we should provide net security in treaty or alliance. So, we should look after net security after few years. Having a great navy and military and develop the country.”
Commodore Srikant Kensur said, “When we talk on Indo Pacific, we need to see in civilization point of view. People of Rome were very happy with Indian products, because of Indian maratian vector.”
RADM K J Kumar said, “Indo Pacific starts with Maritain culture. China is always a mysterious country. There has to be a super power to look after the works of China. Indian military is doing well in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief and this is influencing our democracy. People have a good feeling to Indian’s.” Dr Nanda Kishor, moderated the debate.

RADM ಕೆ. ಜೆ. ಕುಮಾರ್ ಇಂಡೋ-ಪ್ಯಾಸಿಫಿಕ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂರಾಜಕೀಯ ತಿರುಗಾಳಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ವಿವಾದಗಳ ಕೆಲವು ಸವಾಲುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಐಣ. ಉeಟಿ ವಿನೋದ್ ಖಂಡಾರೆ ಮಿಲ್ಟ್ರಿ ಘಟಕಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಇವರು ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸದೆ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು, ಇದರ ಜೊತೆ ಇಂಡೋ ಫೆಸಿಫಿಕ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವೇನು ಎಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮೂಲಕ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
Commodre ಶ್ರೀಕಾಂತ್ ಕೆನ್ಸೂರ್ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ದಾದಾಗಿರಿಯ ಹಲವು ವಿ?ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇಂಡೋ-ಪೆಸಿಫಿಕ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಭದ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿದರು ನಂದಕಿಶೋರ್ ವಿಚಾರ ವಿಮರ್ಷೆಯ ನೇತೃತ್ವ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಗುರುಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಜಲ್ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
