Day 3 | Audi 1 – Session 1 : 10.15 am
The first session of the last day of the Mangaluru LIT Fest organized by Barath Foundation in collaboration with Mythic Society started on the topic ‘Cultural Marxism’. The moderator of the session was Mr Shreeraj Gudi and the speaker for the session was Dr Anshu Joshi. Ms Anshu started her talk by telling what cultural marxism is all about.
She says that indian cultural is very flexible. Following foreign traditions blindly is fashion but we shy away from following our own culturals. She’s says that this is not modernization in India but rather westernization. This targets the family system in india influencing the youth and the ladies in our country.
She further goes on to say that how India progresses depends on on our youth. We should be urge our younger generation to read the Bagvatgati and kautilya’s arthashastra to understand the way of living life. National Education Policy established in 2020 has helped in boosting this effort.
The NEP also helps is come out of the colonial mindset. The session ended with a Q and A session with Ms Anshu answering the question of the audience.
ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮಾರ್ಕ್ಸ್ ವಾದ
ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯು ಬಹಳ ವಿಕಾಸಶೀಲ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತಹದ್ದು. ಆದರೆ ವಿದೇಶಿ ರೀತಿ ನೀತಿಗಳನ್ನ ಅನುಸರಿಸುವಾಗ ಯಾವ ಮೂಲಾಜೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ ನಮಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸುವಾಗ ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಧುನೀಕರಣದ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮೀಕರಣವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ದೆಹಲಿ ಜವಾಹರಲಾಲ್ ನೆಹರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ಡಾ ಅಂಶು ಜೋಶಿಯವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಲೈಟ್ ಫೆಸ್ಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀರಾಜ್ ಗುಡಿಯವರು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ವಿಚಾರಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಪಶ್ಚಿಮೀಕರಣವು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಇದು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಇದುವೇ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮಾರ್ಕ್ಸ್ ವಾದ. ವಿದೇಶಿಗರು ಯಾರೂ ಧೋತಿ, ಸೀರೆ ಧರಿಸಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಅಡುಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಮಾತ್ರ ಜೀನ್ಸ್, ಚಾಕಲೇಟ್ಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಇದೇ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾಗದೇ ಇರುವ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯದ್ದು. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಯಾವ ಯಾವ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡುವವರು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಯುವಕರೇ ಹೊರತು ಪರಕಿಯರಲ್ಲ.
ನಮ್ಮಂಥ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು, ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನೇ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೌಟಿಲ್ಯನ ಅರ್ಥಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇರುವಾಗ ನಾವು ವಸಾಹತುಶಾಹಿ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಬೇಗ ಹೊರಬರಬೇಕು. ನೂತನ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಬಲ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
