Sanskrit and Value-based lessons for children at ‘Chinnara Angala’
The Samskrita Bharati Mangalore team, which works towards spreading the importance of Dharma among children, is teaching Sanskrit to the younger generation. For the past 20 years, they have been working to bring the language to every doorstep. People of all ages now study Sanskrit from the comfort of their homes and even converse in Sanskrit throughout the day. This team taught Sanskrit to children during the ‘Chinnara Angala’ (Children’s Corner) program at the Mangalore Lit Fest.
On this occasion, the Samskrita Bharati team stated that their mission is to impart ‘Samskara’ (values/ethics), adding that India is recognized as ‘Vishwaguru’ (World Leader/Teacher) primarily because of the Sanskrit language and its rich culture. The program was conducted by team members Dr. Shantala Vishwas, Anita Tantri, Jyoti Udupa, Beena Srinivas, Vinamra Herale, Vrunda, and Meghana.
Children participated in the program with great interest and curiosity.

ಧರ್ಮದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸಾರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಭಾರತಿ, ಮಂಗಳೂರು ತಂಡವು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಪಾಠ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ 20 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮನೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರೂ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕುಳಿತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಓದುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಡೀ ದಿನ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ತಂಡವು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಲಿಟ್ ಫೆಸ್ಟ್ ನ ಚಿಣ್ಣರ ಅಂಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು.
ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಭಾರತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಕಲಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಭಾರತ ವಿಶ್ವಗುರು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಭಾರತಿ ತಂಡ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿತು. ತಂಡದ ಡಾ. ಶಾಂತಲಾ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ್, ಅನಿತಾ ತಂತ್ರಿ, ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಉಡುಪ, ಬೀನಾ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ವಿನಮ್ರ ಹೆರಳೆ, ವೃಂದಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮೇಘನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ, ಕುತೂಹಲದಿಂದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು.
